Our Mission Style Lantern adds elegance and ambiance to any home. Our Mission Lanterns are carefully constructed by hand in the original style of the American Arts and Crafts Movement. This Mission Style Lantern is part of our elegant Mission Lighting collection. The lantern is available in oak and cherry wood, custom stain colors are available. Original and Classic, each of our handmade Mission Style Lanterns is an individual and unique item.
Highlights:
Hanging Height & Rods/Chains: The Mission Style Lanterns are adjustable to any height you need to fit your space with a minimum of 17 inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the glass. The Mission lantern hangs from the ceiling by either a heavy black rectangular chain, black oval chain or a single steel rod with loops. Additional chain or rod length is available.
Wattage & Bulbs: This Mission Style Lantern has an open-top design allowing light to reflect off the ceiling into your living space. The Mission lantern require one light bulb with a total maximum wattage of 150 watts.
Glass Shade: Hand cut & hand soldered each stained glass shade is custom made upon ordering. The main glass of the Mission lantern is available in two colors: caramel cream or whispering white. The caramel cream, when illuminated, offers a beautiful mission amber glow. However, the whispering white is approximately 15% brighter. The accent glass of the Mission lantern is available in many colors.
Frame: The Mission Style Lantern is available in White northern Quartersawn Oak and Cherry Wood. Our standard wood colors on oak are: Mission Brown, Dark Cherry, Golden Oak and Black. You also have the option of having your Mission Style Lantern made in a custom color to match your home decor.
